Welcome to Caerphilly Castle Ladies and Girls Football Club.

The club was founded in 1999 and competed in the South Wales Women’s League. 2009 saw them reach the Women’s Welsh Cup Final, before eventually being defeated by eight-time winners Cardiff City Ladies.

2010 saw the club lift the South Wales Women’s League Cup after a penalty shoot-out win over UWIC and in the same year they were awarded a place in the Women’s Welsh Premier League. Caerphilly went on to finish mid-table in their debut season.

Caerphilly Castle Ladies team now play in Division one of the South Wales Women’s and Girls League.

We have a rapidly growing Junior section. Reborn in September 2017, we entered an Under 9s and Under 11s team in the SWWGL from December 2017.

Continually expanding, we are aiming to increase our number of sides for the 2018/2019 season to cover all age groups from Mini’s (u8-u13), to Juniors (u14-u16) right through to Ladies.

New players are always welcome.  Training is Tuesday 7-8pm for Juniors and Ladies, and for minis Wednesday evenings between 6-9pm dependant on age group.
