July News

We now have 60 girls on our books, so a big thanks to all of you for joining us! Below is our latest news for July.

Playing Kits

New playing kits have been ordered, and should be ready by the end of next week (13th July). On the 25th July and 1st August we will be collecting all the Yellow and Blue training tops back as we have a sponsor for them, so they will need to have the sponsors logo on them. Please can you make sure they are clean and with the players name written inside. We aim to have them back for training on 15th August.

Sponsors

A big thank you for all the help in getting new Sponsors for us, especially to Lexi’s mum Charlotte, who has mananged to get a quite a few. We still have a few spaces left for Sponsors, so if you are interetsed or know anyone that might be, please speak to James.

We will be doing an official ‘Launch’ of our new kits in August.

Registration

Regsitration is now open. The League season is scheduled to start on 9th September and any girl that wants to play will need to be registered with the League. Registration is £10 per player and includes a free tracksuit top for every girl that hasn’t got one.

To register you will need to print out a registration form, complete it, take a photo and upload it. You will also need to upload either a passport or birth certificate and a photo.

(Girls don’t need to be registered if they just want to come training on Wednesdays).

Please click here for registration.

Training Tops

These are available for just £5. If you would like to order one please let James know. Please note that we order as and when required, and they’re are being discountinued so there isn’t a lot of stock left.

Shin Pads

With immediate effect, every girl that wants to play in matches, either at the end of training, or against other teams MUST be wearing shin pads. They can be purchased for under £5 at Sports Direct.

Wales Ladies World Cup Match (31st August- Newport)

Gwyn will post a list of people who have requested tickets for the match in the morning (6th July). If you would like tickets please let Gwyn know asap, they are £5 per adult and £2 per child.

Training (11th July)

Seren Roylance’s mum, Nicola, is organising a huge banner for the Wales game on 31st August. She will be coming round with a marker pen and paper for any girl that wishes to write a message for the Welsh players. Those message will then be printed on the banner and displayed at the match. Thanks Nicola!

Following on from our ‘Soak the Coach’ last week, we will be having a Girls v Coaches game after training (7:15-7:30). Please tell your girls to go easy on us!!!

We want to hear plenty of cheering for the girls from the sidelines, otherwise we may think about a ‘Soak the Parent’ game the following week.

Tournament (14th July)

We have our own tournament on Saturday morning 14th July. It’s at Sue Noake Leisure Centre, Pengam Road, Ystrad Mynch, CF82 8AA. This is open to every girl that trains with us. We will be messaging in the Whatsapp Groups in the next few days for availability.

That’s it for this month, see you all soon.

Thanks

The Juniors Team
